Attn: Mr. Paul Glasgow

Subject: Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, Ultraviolet Absorption Experiment |
Preliminary analysis of the data obtained during the joint U.S.
- U.S.S.R. performance of the Ultraviolet Absorption Experiment
indicates that the major experiment objectives were achieved.
This experiment was quite sophisticated both technically and
operationally and its successful completion was due to the performance
of the hardware and the Apollo astronauts.
Your company made a significant contribution to the experiment
development program through your work with Precision Lapping
and Optical Company, Inc., therefore, Glasgow Products, Inc.
is to be commended for their efforts in giving timely and very
competent engineering and design support. Your willingness to
react quickly to last minute changes and your efforts to provide
the finished hardware on a tight schedule are especially appreciated.
Again, let me commend Glasgow Products, Inc. for a job well
done and for your effort expended on behalf of the Apollo-Soyuz
Test Project |
